Visits to the Recreation Center

Updated:  March 22, 2021

Keeping everyone safe is our top priority.  To ensure the safety of our members and employees at the Recreation Center, NECA will continue to closely follow all applicable City, State, and federal statutory and regulatory requirements as well as the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines to the extent they do not conflict with the Emergency Order issued by the State of Hawaii, and the City and County of Honolulu.  For more information, visit www.oneoahu.org.

Kindly abide by the following guidelines and protocols when visiting the Recreation Center:

*Daily Hours of Operation:  Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Closed on Sunday.
*Reservation Required:  Members will be required to make a reservation in advance.  To make a reservation, call (808) 487-3806 during business hours. Please DO NOT leave a voicemail.
*Members may hold only one (1) reservation for the same activity at a time.  Reservations are limited to two (2) consecutive time slots.

Safety protocols for all visitors of the Recreation Center:

*Use of a face mask is required while in the premises of the Recreation Center.  If you arrive without a facial covering, you will be denied entry into the Recreation Center.
*Sanitize hands upon check-in.  Staff may assist by spraying your hands.
*Temperatures are taken upon check-in.  If you have a temperature above 100.4 degrees F, you will be denied entry into the Recreation Center.  If you do not feel well, please stay home.
*Seating areas are closed until further notice. Please no loitering or group gatherings allowed.
*Please abide by your reserved time and time limit. This will allow other members waiting to use the facilities to begin their reservations on time.
*Advance reservations assist with touchless entry into the Recreation Center.  Members do not need to enter their access code for entry, but will need to be in “good standing” with NECA.
*NECA is limiting the number of members allowed into the Recreation Center so to not exceed the maximum number of people allowed in one area, or in an activity.  Due to limited spaces available, outside guests or non-members are not allowed at this time.
*Reservation times for activities have been staggered.

IMPORTANT:  If you are infected with COVID-19 or think you may have been exposed, please do not visit the Recreation Center, instead, please contact your medical provider.

Again, keeping everyone safe is our top priorityProtocols and procedures are subject to change without notice.  If you have any questions or concerns, please email: info@newtownestates.org.
